Since 7 years phillie deluxe is a constant in Potsdam's house music scene.
Starting with deep and discofied music back in the days, he is now mixing
minimal beats with an electro influence. But for all that a touch of house
is still important and sways his dj-sets. This clash of styles is what makes
his performances fatally and a bit sassy.
2003 was the year when phillie deluxe started playing in diverse lounges
in Berlin. From this followed gigs in clubs like the PolarTV, E-Werk, Studio54
or the Icon to name but a few. Beside playing dj-sets locally phillie deluxe
also moved around. On his way he hit the Clubvilla, the Mira Cub and also
played at the Elysees Dance Club. 2006 followed a booking from Poland,
where he was performing a thrilling dj-set at the Level Club in Warsaw.
PRODUCING
In his dj-sets phillie deluxe tries to combine different styles of house,
minimal and electro. Aside from that phillie deluxe is also producing music
and is working on his first release. Since 2005 he produced the soundtracks
for 4 documentary dvds.
PERSPECTIVE
In 2008 phillie deluxe will break new grounds and delight more people
with his cheeky sounds. Upcoming gigs are planned at the Watergate in Berlin
and at the Airwaves Festival on Iceland.
